Summer Retreat

The GHMBC Summer Retreat 2024 took place on July 7th-9th in Oxford, Mississippi.

Teachers participated in teacher training, along with sessions that embody the GHMBC program and the Playmaker Project. This included yoga sessions as well as how to use play in the classroom to assist children’s learning. Additionally, teachers were able to connect with teachers from other schools across the state utilizing the GHMBC curriculum and offer encouragement and support as they embark on either a first or returning year with the program. Retreat 2023

Our 2023 GHMBC retreat was held July 10th-12th at Lake Tiak O’Khata in Louisville, Mississippi.

Our 2022 GHMBC retreat was held July 11th-13th at the McClain Lodge in Brandon, Mississippi.
